AAII Semi-Annual Meeting in San Diego On Saturday, March 4, 2000.

	The Association  of  Allergists and Immunologists from India
	met at San Diego on Saturday on March 4th. During the Annual
	meeting  of American Academy of Allergy asthma & Immunology.
	The meeting was conducted  by  the  new executive committee, 
	Dr. Sunita Kanumury(President), Dr. Edara(Secretary).

	The guest speaker was Dr. Gary Gross, MD Executive Vice President
	of JCAAI; and clinical professor of Medicine, University of Texas 
	southwestern Medical school. He spoke on coding in allergists
	office. 

	The association pledged $25,000 to the Education and Research Trust
	(ERT) of the  American  Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology is a
	charitable trust that exists  to  promote  our specialty by funding
	fellows, education  and  research.  During  our  Indian  Allergists
	Association  luncheon  at  the  AAAAI  Annual Meeting in San Diego,
	twenty -three Indian  Allergists  agreed  to be the lead donors for
	an ERT Fund honoring our society. 

	The association's new web site  (www.aaaii.org) was launched.

	Dr. Krishner Murthy presented rotary Award to Dr.Singh of Beumont,
	Texas. 
   
	Dr. Giri Dandamudi talked about asthma camps and developing
	projects in South India.
